It has simplified the process since you only need one strip and the eyeliner.

2. Preparation

Preparing your eyes for any type of makeup is an essential step and should never be forgotten. For magnetic lashes, there are some preparations that you need to do before applying the lashes. First, clean your eyelids and eyelash areas to remove any oil and debris. Applying lashes needs to be done on a clean surface to prevent any infections due to debris accumulation.

Moreover, if you are applying any makeup like mascara, this is the time to do it. Mascara will accentuate the look even more. Also, you can trim your lashes to be shorter if that is your preference. Trim from the outer ends of your eyes for a better look.

3. Magnetic Eyeliner Application

You start by shaking the eyeliner well, then apply it to your lash line. Estimate the sufficient amount of the liner, not too much or little. The application should be even across your lash line. Then, let the eyeliner dry off. 

To make sure it is ready for lash application, pat it with your finger, and if any sticks to your finger, you leave it to dry for a bit longer.

Applying your magnetic lashes is possible with either fingers or tweezers. Choose the method that is easier for you. The steps are as follows;

• Start with the top lash strip applying them in the inner corners first. Press slightly to secure the lashes. Make sure there is alignment with your lash line and your edges.
• Place the lower lash strip below your natural lashes carefully as you align it with the top falsies. The magnets will automatically connect, giving you a fresh new look.
• In case of incorrect alignment, no worries; just remove them and repeat the process. 

If you are using eyeliner, it is still an easy process. Apply the lash strip and press it gently on your lash line to stick to the magnetic eyeliner. Also, start with the inner corners while pressing on the roots to secure them properly.

5. Removal

Removing your magnetic lashes is not rocket science; it is a very straightforward procedure, just like the application. During removal, disconnect the lashes, preferably starting from the outer corners. The magnetic eyeliner has a cleansing oil that helps in removal. Use cotton pads and the cleansing oil to remove the eyeliner from your lash line, and if any residues are remaining, simply wipe them off gently with a cotton pad.

For proper maintenance, clean the magnets on the lashes with an oil-free solution and store them safely for subsequent use. Additionally, you should not let the liner’s cleansing oil get on your magnetic lashes as this may interfere with the magnets, rendering them useless.

• If you are using eyeliner, apply it as close to your natural lashes as possible.
• If the natural lashes on your inner corners of the eyes are a nuisance for lash application, simply trim them before applying the magnetic lashes. 
• It is recommended to use tweezers instead of your fingers for the best results; however, this does not exclude the use of fingers if that is what is comfortable.
